One of our most coveted Homesteader Days traditions. If you’re looking for a great place to find a cold beer on Saturday, you’ll find an ice cold alcoholic beverage in the Beer Garden. Pull up a stump and kick up some sawdust as you share a cold one and a story with your friends or one of the locals who return year after year to visit and carry on. The Beer Garden opens at 11:00 am and closes at 1:00 am. Thanks to our sponsors at Coors we serve ice cold draft Coors, Coors Light, Blue Moon, and assorted canned alcoholic beverages.
If you’re looking for a day full of activities we’ve got it or you’re more than welcome to spend the day in the Beer Garden with family and friends. Want to start early? You can enjoy an ice cold beverage inside the Beer Garden while you watch the parade, then drift outside to enjoy a delicious lunch of Lions Club BBQ Beef and Chicken or burgers, tacos and nachos from our local vendors. Follow that up with a walk through the games and carnival rides, a game of bingo and a trip through the craft vendors.
If you want to watch kids and adults in Fun on the Farm it starts at 2:00 pm. You’ll absolutely want to stick around for the Greased Pig Wrestling at 6:00 pm. It’s fun for the whole family. Our Beer Garden entertainment this year will be live music provided by a local favorite Exit 53 kicking off at 8:00 pm. There will be a live auction of assorted items donated by Briggs Distributing followed up by another one of our bests, an exhilarating fireworks show at dusk. All alcoholic beverages must stay in the Beer Garden. You must be age 21 to enter and must show a valid ID.
